An introduction

Hello my name is David. This blog will hopefully incorporate two of my favorite hobbies: spectator sports, and road-tripping. I will also provide links and information to both of these topics, along with photos and perhaps some daily musings and whatnot. Feel free to comment and provide criticism if you must. Since I live in the southwest, Las Vegas to be exact, many of the places featured will mainly be in the southwest. One of the first places I review will be my hometown ballpark, Cashman Field, home of the Las Vegas 51's, triple A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. A major influence to these reviews comes from a book I read when i was junior high school titled, "Dodger Dogs to Fenway Franks: The Ultimate Guide to America's Top Baseball Parks", by Robert Wood, published in 1989. The author gives a detailed description and review of each Major League Ballpark that was active in 1988. I read this book, cover to cover, at least 3 times when I first got my hands on it.
